Retailers are looking at ways of reducing their plastic bags, particularly following the 2008 budget where the Government announced they will bring forward legislation in the Climate Change Bill to force retailers to impose a minimum charge on single-use carrier bags, if sufficient progress isn’t made on a voluntary basis.
